Julia Ford

DIRECTOR OF PARTNERSHIPS & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Julia has more than 15 years of experience leading partnerships, programs, and products at the intersection of technology and nonprofits.

Before joining the AidKit team, Julia honed her partnership and community building skills through serving the Portland community as a case manager for people experiencing homelessness, appealed to customer palates as a lead pastry chef, started her own catering and event management company (her cookies are very good), and worked as a development director at a local school, leveraging relationship management systems and major gifts work to bring education to life. She did programs and product management for a digital consulting firm called ThinkShout and went on to head up their Sales and Marketing team before moving into the world of SaaS and building the nonprofit vertical out at the CRM and marketing automation company, HubSpot.

Outside of Work

When Julia is not busy you can find her baking, swimming, traveling, building community with the likes of Multnomah County Democrats, Indigeninity Behavioral Health Network, and Portland Refugee Support Group- all the while trying desperately to achieve fluency in Spanish.
